State Fair 2011

This year, the State Fair snuck upon us and we didn't have a chance to get to the fair together as a family. I really wanted to take Eli this year because we have taken him each year of his life and I thought this would be the year he would enjoy the animals the most! I took off Friday, Sept. 2nd (also Nick and my 6th Wedding Anniversary) so that I could take Eli. We had a wonderful day... Although, Eli was a bit disappointed that the fair didn't have any camels, zebras, or giraffes. Other than that, he had a great time!

Checkin' out the baby sheep with their mamas in the Birthing Center.

Hi!

Baa!!!

What the...???

I'm use to seeing people sleeping with the cows... but now the sheep, too!?

Eli and I made it in time for the Rooster Crowing Contest... It was absolutely hysterical!

And I want the rest of you cowboys to know something, there's a new sheriff in town. And his name is Eli Sundsmo.
With a Moo-Moo here...

...and a moo moo there...

I hate to disappoint anyone that follows this blog...

I looked everywhere...

...even in the cow showers...

But I could not find ANYONE spooning, snuggling, or sleeping with the cows...

But I did see these two gives eachother kisses...

What a beauty!
