Book Club Tuesday - Breaking Dawn Part 2 - FINALLY!!!

So, I finally finished Breaking Dawn tonight! I left the book in AZ and have been waiting until today for it to be sent home... Anyway, I literally just finished it. Honestly, I was expecting a more shocking ending... a jaw-dropper... and it just ended nicely. Ending nicely is, well, nice. Like I said, I was hoping for something crazy, I guess. But, I need to remind myself that this is a series of books intended for teenage girls, not nearly-thirty-year-old girls!

Happy St. Patty's Day!

Heidi (my neighbor/friend), called me at 10:30 this morning and asked if we wanted to go to the St. Patty's Day parade in St. Paul. We literally just walked in the door from the gym. I was stinky and nasty. I jumped into the shower and we were off the to parade just 45 minutes later... I can get ready in less than 45 minutes, but I have a kid to feed, pack. etc. Anyway, we made it and had a great time! We had so much fun that we decided to extend the celebration after the kid's nap. Soon, the dads came home and some other neighbors joined us as well.

15-Months!

Really?! 15-Months? Time goes by so fast... and faster after you have a baby. This guy is hardly a baby anymore, but he will always be my baby. Ok, so we love talking to strangers at the store... "Hi! Hi!" to everyone we see! He just loves to talk to people everywhere we go, and people love to talk to him! Daddy is the center of our universe and can do no wrong! However, Mama is the name we call when some comfort is needed, and I am always happy to provide. We love to watch cars, trucks, buses... and make the appropriate noises for them. We like our toys but love to explore other things that are not toys and much more interesting. We help mommy with laundry and even take a rag to the floor, tables, etc. to help with cleaning. He is just the most wonderful child I could have ever imagined... everyday is such a blessing!

New gig!

Yep, I got a job! I am working with a company called HelmsBriscoe. I will be working with meeting planners and companies that host large events and assist them with the site selection process (RFPs and contract negotiations). It's a great opportunity, and the best part is that I can work my own hours and work from home!

I had some training/meetings in Scottsdale this past week... I stayed at the JW Marriott Desert Ridge in Scottsdale, AZ. It was an absolute treat! As nice as it was, it was great to get back home to my guys!
