Flashback Friday - Prom Edition
It's Flashback Friday! I thought it would be fun to dig out the old Prom Pictures.

First day back...
Today was my first day back at Carlson. I went in just for a half day... just to get use to the completely new routine in the morning. I am out the door by 6:30 a.m. and Nick and Eli are out about 7:00 a.m.
I had a great time back at the office. It was great to see all my colleagues and to get up to speed with my new team and new boss. I am now working on the Brand Program & Development Standards team (formerly with Operations). It is a smaller team that focus’ on projects that implement and maintain new programs and brand standards for Country Inns & Suites.
I got to Megan's (Eli's daycare person’s name) about 11:30 a.m. I was so excited to see him amongst his new friends. There are (2) little girls there, Ava & Addison (both about 8 months) and Megan's son, Jack, who is 3. He recognized me right away and started jibber jabbering right away. Probably telling me about all the fun he had.
Overall, I did ok and I know it will just get easier in time. I always have my evenings and weekends to look forward to being with my guys.

Whew!
Only 2 weeks to go before I have to go back to work. I say "have to" because right now it is really hard for me to imagine not spending my days with Eli. I am partially excited to go back to work and I do think it will be great for Eli to be around other little ones.
In the last 2 weeks, Eli has emerged from the "newborn haze." I feel like we are getting to know each other better and we are not just in survival mode, but rather playing and having alot of fun together. He talks like crazy and flashes his gorgeous grin all day long... melts my heart every time!

You may have a hard time getting a hold of me in the next 2 weeks; I will be busy savoring my last days at home with my little guy.... Onto the next phase of my life... being a working mother!
