Home Renovations - Painting the stairway!

Our stairway to the basement seems to have been painted in honor of the Minnesota WILD.... floor to ceiling.... literally! The ceiling was painted green! Who paints a ceiling green? So, I got the urge to paint and with Nick's ladder-configuration-assistance; I tackled the project that I have dreaded.... it's done and it looks great!

Before: Not a color I would pick...

After: Pretty! (If I do say so myself!)

Before: As if the green isn't bad enough, the ceiling too??? Oh, and the ugly light fixture! (with green paint on it!)
