A recent discussion with my sis' re: my belly button. (Pregnant lady problems).

Bump, there it is!

Eli likes to sing to the bump. Such a sweet guy.

Eli says - "Cause she's cute!"

On our way to school this morning I asked Eli which of the girls in his class were his favorite to play with. He responded, "Sophia. Cause she's cute!" This is the same girl he told me a few months ago that he is going to marry. Oh, boy!

Eli says: Chuckie Cheese-its

"Mama, can I go to Chuckie Cheese-its someday?"

Flashback Sunday...

This was Christmas night. Eli was about a month old. He STILL loves napping with his Daddy...

30-weeks

We are 30-weeks along and feeling great!  A few weeks ago I did the 3-hour Gestational Diabetes test and failed one of the four tests. To be diagnosed with Gestational Diabetes you have to fail two. To be on the safe side they decided to have me follow the "GD" diet and check my blood after each meal. It is a pain in the ass, but I would rather error on the side of caution. GD is a big deal if not managed properly and I obviously don't want to put my child or myself at risk for having Type 2 diabetes in the future. Aside from that, everything is going great! The baby is very active which is my favorite part of being pregnant. Eli is already showing what a great big brother he is going to be with hugging and kissing my belly and talking to the baby, too. Just a matter if weeks and the baby will be here!

I hate bathroom selfies, but I haven't been good about having Nick take pics of my belly... So a bathroom selfie it is!

Coffee date

Eli and I enjoyed a little coffee date together after school... Love these moments together.
