6 Weeks Old - First road trip to Willmar!

We took Eli on his first road trip to Willmar! He was absolutely wonderful in the car!
On Saturday, my mom had a "Sip n' See" for Willmar friends and neighbors to meet Eli. Sunday, we had my Grandma & Grandpa McLaughlin and my Grandpa Donnie over for brunch. Grandpa Donnie got to meet Eli in the hospital, but Grandma & Grandpa Mac had not met him yet (Eli is their third Great Grandchild born this year).
Eli also turned 6 Weeks this weekend. We had him weighed at the clinic on Friday and he weighed in at 11.5 pounds! I can't believe how big he is getting! He is changing everyday and is so much fun!
Smiley Baby!

Taking a break from all the excitement!

He had a great time on his first trip to Willmar!

Ladies Night

I went out on the town Friday night... I was out for 5 hours! I will admit that I thought about the little guy all night...

Gram Sundsmo

Today we took Eli and his cousin Luke to meet Great-Grandma Sundsmo. They were disappointed they don't have teeth yet so they could bite into one of her world famous cookies!

Shout out to my Mom!

Sweet Dreams

Eli with Cousin Hailey & Cousin Jake
Happy Birthday, Grandpa Tim!
The McLaughlins

We just had a great bunch of days full of family and Christmas celebrations. We kicked it off Christmas Eve at Nick's Dad's for dinner. Christmas Day we spent at Nick's Mom's and then that evening my parents and sister joined us at our house for until Sunday afternoon. Nick had to work Friday, so it gave my parents and sister a full day of Eli time. Saturday evening my Uncle Denny, Cousin Ian, Cousin Claire and her kids, Hailey and Jake came over to hang out. We also celebrated my Dad's 51st birthday on Saturday. Whew! It all flew by so fast, but it was all so much fun. Nick's gets 2 days off this week, so I am looking forward to the three of us having down time together.
